How to use Bandai TCG+ to sign up for One Piece TCG events
Every official One Piece event page says 'apply on TCG+'. Here's how to set up Bandai's app so you can actually do it.
The short version
- Bandai TCG+ is Bandai's free app for official One Piece Card Game events: you use it to find stores and tournaments, apply, check in, see pairings and report results.
- Bandai TCG+ requires a Bandai Namco ID, and since 28 September 2026 that ID needs a residential address, which you add on the Bandai Namco ID website rather than in the app.
- Without a registered address you can't apply for new tournaments on Bandai TCG+ or use its last-minute check-in.
- One Piece events only appear in Bandai TCG+ after you set the Game Title to ONE PIECE CARD GAME.
- Applying on Bandai TCG+ doesn't always secure a seat: each store manages registration its own way, so confirm with the store after you apply.
To sign up for an official One Piece event, you need Bandai TCG+, a free app from Bandai, and a Bandai Namco ID with your home address on it. Set the app's Game Title to ONE PIECE CARD GAME, find a store, apply while the application window is open, then confirm with the store. On the day you check in through the app, and it shows your pairings.
It's worth getting this sorted now. Bandai's 4th Anniversary Event, the OP-18 release tournament, opens applications on TCG+ on 6 November 2026, and December's Store Tournament events open on 17 November. Both pages send you to the app and nowhere else.
What Bandai TCG+ does
- Search official tournaments and the stores that run them.
- Apply for events during their application window.
- Check in on the day, by location or by scanning a code, at events that support it.
- Show your pairings, with push notifications if the organiser sends them.
- Report your results after each game and keep your match history.
- Search cards, build decks and register a deck for an event.
It covers Bandai's other card games too, which is why the Game Title setting matters. The app is on the App Store and Google Play, it's free, and the App Store listing gives English and Japanese as its languages.
Setting up Bandai TCG+ for One Piece
From no account to your first application
Create a Bandai Namco ID
The app won't work without one. If you already have an ID from another Bandai Namco game or service, use that.
Add your residential address on the Bandai Namco ID website
Bandai made this mandatory from 28 September 2026. You can't add or change it inside TCG+, only on the Bandai Namco ID site. For a child's account, a parent or guardian has to do it.
Install Bandai TCG+ and log in
Download it from the App Store or Google Play and sign in with your Bandai Namco ID.
Set the Game Title to ONE PIECE CARD GAME
One Piece events don't show up until you do. This is the setting Bandai's event pages point to first.
Find the event and apply
Search for stores near you, open the event and apply. Watch the application dates: most events open on a set day, and popular ones fill up.
Confirm with the store
Stores run registration their own way. Some want payment in advance, and if you miss their deadline they can move you to the waitlist. Bandai doesn't handle payments or refunds.
Check in and report results on the day
Check in through the app when you arrive, follow your pairings and enter each result when the game ends.
Events you can apply for on TCG+ now
| Event | Dates | Applications on TCG+ | Our guide |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4th Anniversary Event (OP-18 release event) | 20 November to 17 December 2026 | From 6 November 2026 | 4th Anniversary Event |
| Heroines Battle Vol.2 | 6 November to 6 December 2026 | Open since 23 October 2026 | Heroines Battle Vol.2 |
| Store Tournament 2026 Vol.4, December events | December 2026 | From 17 November 2026 | Store Tournament Vol.4 |
| Pirates Party 2026 Vol.4 | 1 November to 31 December 2026 | Through participating stores on TCG+ | Pirates Party Vol.4 |
Dates are from Bandai's English event pages, checked on 2 November 2026. A casual weekly locals night doesn't always go through the app; many stores take sign-ups at the counter. Our guide to finding One Piece locals covers that side.
When something doesn't work
- You can't see any One Piece events. Check the Game Title setting first. It has to say ONE PIECE CARD GAME.
- You can't apply, or last-minute check-in fails. Your Bandai Namco ID probably has no residential address. Add it on the Bandai Namco ID site; questions about it go to Bandai Namco ID Support, not the TCG+ team.
- Your status says Waitlist. At events where the store takes payment in advance, missing its deadline can drop you to the waitlist. Talk to the store.
- Your application went through but the store has no record of you. Bandai's pages say stores manage registration differently and tell you to contact the store directly. Do that a few days before the event.
Bandai TCG+ D, the deck builder
Bandai TCG+ D is a separate web service Bandai launched on 31 July 2026 for building decks. It runs in the browser (you can add it to your phone's home screen), it needs a TCG+ account, and it links to TCG+ so you can register a deck you built there for a tournament. It also has card and deck search, decklists from events like the Championship and a solo play mode. If you're new to building, our deck building guide covers the rules every list has to follow.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Bandai TCG+ free?
- Yes. The app is free on the App Store and Google Play. Event entry fees are set and collected by each store, not by the app.
- Do I need Bandai TCG+ to play One Piece TCG at a store?
- For official events like the 4th Anniversary Event, Heroines Battle or Store Tournaments, yes: Bandai's pages tell players to apply on TCG+. A casual locals night may just take names at the counter, so ask your store.
- Why can't I see One Piece events in Bandai TCG+?
- Set the Game Title to ONE PIECE CARD GAME. Bandai TCG+ covers several of Bandai's card games, and One Piece events only show once that title is selected.
- Can I add my address in the Bandai TCG+ app?
- No. Since 28 September 2026 the residential address goes on your Bandai Namco ID, through the Bandai Namco ID website. Without it you can't apply for new tournaments or use last-minute check-in.
- What is Bandai TCG+ D?
- A web deck builder Bandai launched on 31 July 2026. It needs a TCG+ account and lets you register decks you build there for tournaments through TCG+.

Stop guessing what your cards are worth
Before you register a deck, Bounty's deck builder checks the 50-card count, the four-copy limit and the colour match with your Leader, and shows which cards you still need and what they'd cost.
