How we write our One Piece TCG guides

The guides on this site are written by the team that builds Bounty, an independent, unofficial app for One Piece Card Game collectors and players. This page explains where their facts come from and how we keep them honest.

Where the facts come from

Rules, card lists, set dates, product details and the banned and restricted list come from Bandai's official One Piece Card Game website. The pages a guide relied on are listed under Sources at the end of it.

Prices and market behaviour come from the marketplaces collectors use: TCGplayer for the US, Cardmarket for Europe and Yuyu-tei for Japan. Grading guides rely on the published standards of PSA, BGS and CGC.

When sources disagree, or something has not been confirmed yet, the guide says so instead of picking one.

Keeping guides current

Every guide shows the date it was published and the date its facts last changed. The updated date only moves when the content changes.

Guides that depend on time, such as new sets, release dates, the banlist and the competitive season, are checked against the official site every month and rewritten once events have happened.

Every guide is published in English, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese and Portuguese, with the same facts and sources in each language.

How we mention Bounty

We build Bounty, so some guides explain how the app helps with the task they describe. Every statement about the app is checked against a list of what it does and does not do, and features that need Premium are labelled as such.

When a guide compares apps, it says that we make one of them.

Independence

Bounty is a fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Bandai, Shueisha or Eiichiro Oda.
