The short version

  • The One Piece Card Game Mall Tour 2026 is a US event series run by Bandai at shopping malls, with trial sessions, a kids' session, a starter-deck tournament and product sales.

  • Earlier stops were Woodfield Mall near Chicago (14–16 August), Mall of Georgia (11–13 September) and Mall of America (23–25 October 2026).
  • Trial session players learn with Luffy and Zoro demo decks, keep the deck they used and get a promo card for completing a survey.
  • Rookie Fest is a single-round tournament with a Starter Deck bought at the venue, and both participants and winners get a Welcome Pack 2026 Vol.1.

The Mall Tour 2026 is Bandai's travelling learn-to-play event for the One Piece Card Game in US shopping malls, and its next stop is Westfield Galleria at Roseville, California, on 6–8 November 2026. You can sign up for a trial session on the day, learn with a Luffy or Zoro demo deck and keep that deck afterwards.

We read Bandai's Mall Tour page on 31 October 2026. It lists four stops, says "More Coming Soon!" and doesn't mention an entry fee. If you've been meaning to try the game with a friend or a kid, this is about the lowest-pressure way in.

Roseville is the only stop left on the schedule as of 31 October. Bandai hasn't posted December dates; the page just promises more. All four stops so far are in the US.

What you can do there

  • Trial session. A learn-to-play match between the Luffy and Zoro demo decks. You keep the deck you played with, though you may not get to pick which one. Fill in the survey afterwards for a promo card. Sign-up is on the day at the mall.
  • Parents & Kids session. A teaching session for children and their parents only, two slots a day with 12 seats each time.
  • Rookie Fest. Buy a Starter Deck at the venue and play it in a single-round tournament. Everyone who plays gets a Welcome Pack 2026 Vol.1, and so does the winner.
  • Everything else. An event booklet, a stamp area, a demo of the official app and a photo booth.
  • Retail. Selected products are on sale, and if the timing works, you can use a starter deck you bought there in the tournaments.

The page pictures OP09-029 Tony Tony.Chopper next to the sessions. Bandai doesn't spell out which activity it comes from, so treat it as a likely promo rather than a promise. Quantities are limited and handed out first come, first served, and Bandai warns that activities and items may vary by location.

Making the most of a visit

A first visit to the Mall Tour

  1. Go early

Sign-ups happen at the mall and prizes are first come, first served, so turning up early on Friday 6 or Saturday 7 November gives you the best shot at a trial seat and the promo.

  2. Do the trial session first

You'll learn the turn structure with a deck that's built to teach, and you leave with it. If you want a head start, skim our how to play guide on the way.

  3. Decide on Rookie Fest after

If you enjoyed the demo, a Starter Deck plus the single-round Rookie Fest is a cheap first tournament. Our starter deck guide helps you pick one.

  4. Find your local store

The Mall Tour is a one-off. To keep playing, look for weekly events near you with our locals guide; stores also run beginner-focused Pirates Party events through December.
