By the Bounty team · How we write our guides

The short version

  • Most of Bandai Japan's big events are lottery-only and require applying through Bandai TCG+ with a registered face photo, which can take over a week to approve.
  • The EB-05 release event runs at official shops from 31 October to 15 November 2026, and the OP-18 release event from 21 November to 6 December 2026.
  • Flagship Battle EX runs at the Championship 26-27 Season 2 area venues from 3 November to 13 December 2026, in Sapporo, Aichi, Miyagi, Kumamoto, Osaka, Makuhari and Hiroshima.
  • Heroines CUP 3on3 is a three-player team event on 7 November in Tokyo and Osaka and on 29 November 2026, using Heroines Leaders only.
  • Fan Festa 2026 is on 13 December 2026 at Aichi Sky Expo, and winners of the lottery buy a ¥8,800 Fan Festa Set to take part.

Bandai Japan has five main One Piece Card Game events between now and the end of 2026: the EB-05 release event (31 October–15 November), Heroines CUP 3on3 (7 and 29 November), Flagship Battle EX at the Championship area venues (3 November–13 December), the OP-18 release event (21 November–6 December) and Fan Festa 2026 (13 December). Almost all are lottery entry through Bandai TCG+.

We checked Bandai Japan's event pages on 29 October 2026. Several lotteries have already closed, and results for the OP-18 release event, the Osaka and Tokyo Flagship Battle EX and Fan Festa come out on 30 October. These are Japanese events, separate from the English-region calendar.

Release events: EB-05 and OP-18

On weekdays, if that pack contains a Super Rare, Secret, Special, Parallel or Super Parallel, you can claim a commemorative DON!! pair while stock lasts.

  • EB-05 (31 October – 15 November): Heroines Leaders only, from a list of 24 including EB05-016 Nico Robin. Participants also get ST20-004 Charlotte Pudding. The DON!! pair is Luffy and Zoro.
  • OP-18 (21 November – 6 December): Standard format. The DON!! pair is Nami and Usopp, and P-160 Nefeltari Vivi is listed among the promos. Lottery results come out on 30 October.

A perfect record wins ST32-003 Dracule Mihawk, eight copies of OP17-027 Ben Beckman go to the top 32, and everyone gets Promotion Pack Vol.10 and a random 2026 promo sleeve. Hiroshima is the only lottery still to open: 30 October to 8 November, with results on 13 November.

Heroines CUP 3on3

A team event for three players, each using a different Heroines Leader from a list of 25 (OP-18 cards aren't allowed). It's up to five rounds of Swiss on 7 November at TOC Ariake in Tokyo and Mydome Osaka, and on 29 November. The top six get ST32-003 Dracule Mihawk and the top 32 get OP17-027 Ben Beckman. The team lottery closed on 12 October; if you got in, register all three decks in TCG+ before check-in. If you're playing English-region events instead, Heroines Battle Vol.2 uses a similar Leader list.

Fan Festa 2026

Fan Festa is a full day of casual One Piece Card Game play on 13 December 2026 at Aichi Sky Expo, Hall F. Entry is by lottery through Live Pocket (applications closed on 25 October; results on 30 October and 4 November). Winners must buy the Fan Festa Set 2026 for ¥8,800, one per person, which contains a playmat, a storage box, 70 sleeves and 10 DON!! cards, collected at the venue.

How Japanese event lotteries work

Applying for a Bandai Japan event

  1. Register a face photo in Bandai TCG+

Every event above requires it, and approval can take more than a week. If your profile doesn't show it as registered during the application window, you can't apply.

  2. Apply in the window

Apply through TCG+ (Live Pocket for Fan Festa) during the dates on the event page. Teams for 3on3 need all three members to apply with the shared team ID.

  3. Check the result

Only lottery winners can attend. If you win and can't go, cancel in advance; Bandai can suspend accounts for no-shows or transferred entries.

  4. Bring ID and register your deck

Bring your deck, a phone with TCG+ and photo ID matching your Bandai Namco ID. Cards must have been out for at least 7 days, and sleeves must be opaque.

Visiting from abroad? Japanese events use Japanese cards and Japanese-language rulings. Our Japanese vs English cards guide explains the differences, and the OP-18 guide covers the set the second half of the calendar is built around.

Stop guessing what your cards are worth

Bounty tracks Japanese printings separately from English ones, so cards from a Japanese event are logged as the Japanese version in your collection, with a Japanese price where one exists.
